Insanely Awesome Air Fryer Turnip Fries

Air Fryer Turnip Fries

Ingredients
- 2 medium turnips, peeled and sliced into thin french fries
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tsp avocado oil
Instructions
Air Fryer Instructions
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and corn starch in bottom of large mixing bowl.
- Add sliced turnip and toss to coat evenly with seasoning.
- Drizzle with avocado oil and using your hands mix thoroughly, so all fries are coated in oil/seasoning mixture.
- Place turnip in air fryer, making sure not to crowd the fryer. Cook at 400 for 25-30 minutes until fries are cooked through and browned on outside. Make sure to stir every 10 minutes so they cook evenly.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce - I love to use the special sauce from my Big Mac Salad recipe
Oven instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Cover bottom of your largest baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and corn starch in bottom of large mixing bowl.
- Add sliced turnip and toss to coat evenly with seasoning.
- Drizzle with avocado oil and using your hands mix thoroughly, so all fries are coated in oil/seasoning mixture.
- Place turnip on baking sheet in SINGLE layer - this is very important to make sure they get crispy. Use two baking sheets if needed, so they have plenty of space to crisp up.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, making sure to toss every 10 minutes so they cook evenly.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce - I love to use the special sauce from my Big Mac Salad recipe
