Insanely EASY Homemade Hummus

Ingredients
- 1 can organic chickpeas, drained and liquid reserved
- 1/4 cup chickpea liquid (from reserved liquid)
- 1/4 cup organic tahini
- 3 garlic cloves
- juice of one large lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Optional Toppings/Seasonings
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon shaved red onion or shallot
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper relish
- 2 tablespoons minced marinated artichoke
Instructions
- Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, chickpea liquid, salt and pepper in food processor or blender.
- Blend for 1 minute until smooth.
- Add more tahini or chickpea liquid 1 tablespoon at a time if you would like it thinner.
- Plate it and add optional toppings if desired.
