But first, let’s talk about the purpose of this program - when I first heard all the details, I was so excited to hear this program is all about making self-care your JOB. So often, when it comes to fitness and nutrition, we think we need to make big drastic changes and of course, the number one reason most people don’t workout and eat healthy is because they feel like they simply do not have the time for it! Its way too easy to put our own health and wellness on the back burner and this program is designed to help you ditch your excuses!

In Job 1 with Jennifer Jacobs you’ll be making self-care your JOB. This at-home workout program is all about getting it done and moving on with your day. If you’re ready to making your health and wellness a priority, then Job 1 is the program for YOU!

Who is Jennifer Jacobs?

Jennifer Jacob is Beachbody’s newest super trainer - a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and fitness nutrition specialist. Additionally, she is certified indoor cycling instructor through Schwinn and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

Jennifer believes fitness routines are about so much more than just the physical results and she will be bringing that message to Job 1. She places an emphasis on the overall benefits of a healthy lifestyle beyond just the fitness and nutrition. Being healthy is a complete state of physical, mental, and social well-being.

What are the workouts like?

The Job 1 workouts are total-body functional training, so you’ll get more bang for your buck in just 20 minutes a day.

You’ll have 3 days of strength training, 1 day of endurance cardio, and 1 day of HIIT. Plus, this program includes four stationary bike cardio workouts! The bike workouts are totally optional - but Jennifer is known for her heart pumping bike workouts, so I have a feeling these are going to be incredible!

Additionally, Beachbody will be releasing 5 additional bonus workouts to target more specific muscle groups.

What equipment is needed for Job 1?

You will need a Beachbody On-Demand membership (included in your starter kit if you are a new customer), light, medium, and heavy dumbbells - plus resistance bands. You can checkout my top picks for home fitness equipment HERE.

What is the nutrition plan for Job 1?

Like all Beachbody programs, you have the choice of a very basic clean eating guide or committing to one of the Beachbody nutrition programs.
