Easy Air Fryer Roasted Radishes

Have you tried roasting radishes in your air fryer, yet?! Even if you are not the biggest radish fan, these easy air fryer roasted radishes will be a great addition to your air fryer recipes!

If you’re not familiar with cooking these popular root vegetables - let me tell you, this will be one of your favorite ways to enjoy radishes! Normally raw radishes are quite spicy and enjoyed in salads or as a topping/garnish - when cooked, radishes take on a whole new nutty flavor that brings out their natural sweetness. You will be shocked at how delicious they are!

Where to buy radishes

You can find radishes in the produce section of grocery stores or they are also a popular item at the farmers market.

How to store radishes

One great thing about radishes, is that they are a root vegetable and when stored correctly, can last for 2+ weeks in the fridge. Normally you’ll find the radish greens are still attached, but sometimes the stores sell them pre-packaged and trimmed. If the greens are attached, simply trim them off.

Then wrap your radish bulbs in a damp paper towel or kitchen towel and store in your veggie drawer set to high moisture or a ziplock bag in the fridge. This should keep the radishes crisp for 2+ weeks.

Air Fryer vs. Oven Roasted

If you do not have an air fryer, you can absolutely make hot oven roasted radishes. Simply preheat to 425, place the seasoned radishes on a parchment lined + rimmed baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.

How to serve your air fryer roasted radishes

This air fryer roasted radishes recipe makes a delicious side dish and a great alternative to roasted potatoes that are higher in calories and carbs! These radishes make a great low carb side dish recipe.

Roasted radishes pair great with both a light or hearty main dish - you can serve them with anything from pot roast to fish.

If you have some fresh herbs on hand like parsley, you can always add those after roasting, to add some flavor, too. These radishes make a great snack or use any leftovers (if there are any!) as a topping for salads. When it comes to radish recipes, this one is so easy and versatile. I can’t wait for you to try it! You really cannot go wrong with this roasted radish recipe!
