IMG_6919.JPG

5-6 fresh orchard peaches, sliced into bite sized wedges

Juice of half a lemon

1-2 tablespoons brown sugar (the sweeter the peaches, the less sugar needed)

1/2 teaspoon high quality cinnamon (I used Penzey’s cinnamon)

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats/rolled oats

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Place peaches in 9 inch square baking dish and toss with lemon juice - evenly layer peaches in pan

  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and toss lightly

  4. Melt butter in small dish, then add oats and toss to combine butter + oats

  5. Sprinkle oat/butter mix on top and sprinkle with some cinnamon

  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until oats are lightly browned and peaches are bubbling and hot - WARNING your house is going to smell soooo good!!!

  7. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

  8. bake
